Good little sleeper

Well my dear Maya you continue to sleep through the night. Last night you probably fell asleep by 10:15 and slept until 7! (well you woke up around 630 but I was able to get another half hour by giving you your pacifier). I feel so lucky, and I am hoping it will last because it is wonderful. I dreamed of this day when I would be up 2-3 times a night feeding you, but to tell you the truth a small part of me misses those early days where it was all about survival. I would be so tired that sometimes we would just fall asleep together in the nursery or I would pull you into bed with me and you would sleep on my chest. Yesterday morning we did nap together in the morning until about 10am. It was great. You were snuggled in my arms. I am getting sad that I have to go back to work soon and therefore trying to treasure every moment!

You definitely LOVE your pacifier. I would even consider it a mild addiction-he he! It is a good and bad thing...it is great because when you are fussy it definitely soothes you, but at the same time in order for you to fall asleep at night I have to put it back in your mouth numerous times until you finally fall asleep. In fact last night I looked over at you and you were fast asleep and the pacifier was hanging out of your mouth. It was hilarious. Grandma Lynne appropriately calls your pacifier "the plug"!  But in your defense babies supposedly don't have the ability to self soothe until they are about 4 months of age. So this is your soother! My goal is to have you transitioned to your crib by three months of age. The pacifier is going to be an issue because that will require us to go into your room numerous times to put it back in rather then just reaching over! But we will figure it out!

We went on a run/walk with Jenny today! It was really windy out. I had you in the car seat and used the bundleme thing we got from one of dad's co-workers. It worked great! You of course slept the whole time-wind and all!

Right now you are "working out in the gym". You are multitasking as you are tooting, hiccuping, cooing and kicking your legs all at the same time! Well little one, time to shower. Love you more and more everyday!
